For keynotes, panels and breakouts

500 attendees. Zero awkward silences.

Attendees scan a QR code from their seat and send questions, reactions and photos to the screen at the front. No app download, no join code, no mic being passed down a row.

Posts arrive over a WebSocket, not a poll — a question asked from row 20 is on the stage screen before the speaker finishes the sentence.

A conference engagement wall is a screen beside the stage that attendees post to from their phones. They scan a QR code shown on a slide, a badge or a lobby screen, and their questions, reactions and photos appear on the wall within about a second. There is no app to download and no account to create, so participation does not depend on anyone having prepared beforehand.

QR Wall includes a Keynote look for the screen: deep navy, a live animated backdrop and type sized for a room — so the wall reads from the back row and belongs next to a main-stage deck rather than looking like a social feed.

Audience engagement in three steps

Your AV team can set this up during soundcheck.

  1. STEP 1

    Create your event

Sign up free, name your conference wall, get a unique QR code. Add it to slides, print it on badges, or display it on lobby screens.

  2. STEP 2

    Attendees participate

Everyone scans the QR code from their seat. No app, no login. They send questions, reactions and photos right from their browser.

  3. STEP 3

    Display on stage

Show the live wall on your conference screen. Speakers see questions in real time. Attendees see their contributions on the big screen.

Built for every conference format

Keynotes, panels, breakout sessions and hybrid events.

Live Q&A

Attendees submit questions from their seats — no mic passing, no queue at a standing microphone. The speaker or a moderator picks the ones worth answering off the screen.

Audience reactions

Reactions, messages and photos from the floor, live. It keeps the energy up between slides and gives a speaker a read on the room without asking for a show of hands.

Social wall between sessions

Attendee photos and highlights on the screen during breaks — the thing people look at while they queue for coffee, and the reason they walk over and talk to someone.

The same wall, in Grid

Everything on screen at once — the view for a busy lobby or a break, where people want to find their own post.

Grid fills the screen with every recent post at once, which is what you want on a lobby display or between sessions. Slideshow gives each question its moment on the main screen. Switch between them from the dashboard during the event — nobody rescans.

Questions organizers ask

What to settle before the wall goes up beside the stage.

How do attendees get to the wall without an app?
They point a phone camera at the QR code and tap the link. The wall opens in the browser; there is no download, no account and no join code to read out. Put the code on a holding slide, a badge, or a lobby screen and it works for everyone in the room at once.
Can we screen questions before they hit the main screen?
Yes. Turn on the approval queue on Premium or Professional and every post waits on a moderator's phone until someone taps yes. Professional adds AI moderation that screens text and images automatically, so anything obviously inappropriate never reaches the queue.
Will it hold up with several hundred people?
Yes. Posts arrive over a WebSocket rather than polling, so the screen updates in about a second regardless of how many people are sending at once, and attendees post over their own mobile data rather than the venue Wi-Fi.
Can we put our own branding on the screen?
Professional ($19.99 for the month) removes QR Wall branding, lets you set a custom background, and puts your logo inside the QR code itself — on the wall, on printed signage and on the page attendees land on after scanning.
What do we get after the conference?
On paid plans you download every photo, message and video as one archive, plus a shareable gallery link for attendees. Professional also exports the attendee contact list as a CSV if you turned contact capture on.
Does it work for a hybrid session?
Yes — the wall is a URL, so remote attendees post from wherever they are and appear on the room's screen alongside the people in it. That is usually the cheapest way to make a remote audience visible in the room.
