All data transmitted between guests, your display, and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols. Content stored on our servers is encrypted at rest, ensuring your event data remains secure.

Content Moderation

QR Wall provides multiple layers of content protection:

• AI moderation (Professional plan): Messages, photos, and videos are screened before they appear on the wall, with 5 strictness levels — the strictest holds submissions to a professional tone
• Profanity filtering (Professional plan): A deterministic filter catches disguised and misspelled profanity, and hate or extremist imagery is blocked at every strictness level from 1 to 4
• Manual approval (Premium and Professional): Turn it on and every submission waits for your approval before it appears on your display
• Real-time removal: Delete inappropriate content instantly from your display

Privacy Controls

We respect guest privacy and give you full control:

• Anonymous submissions: Guests can participate without providing personal information
• Respectful analytics: We use privacy-respecting product analytics to improve QR Wall — no ads, no selling of data, and guests never create accounts
• Data ownership: You own all content submitted to your events
• Deletion rights: Delete individual submissions or entire events at any time

Data Retention

Your event content stays available until you delete it — there is no automatic expiry on any plan. You stay in control:

• Delete anytime: Removing a post, clearing an event, or deleting an event permanently removes that content — including the media files in storage
• Account deletion: Delete your account yourself from the Account page — all your events and media are removed completely
• Deletion requests: Email [email protected] and we'll delete your data on request

Abuse Prevention

We actively prevent abuse and spam:

• Per-device and per-IP rate limiting on submissions to prevent spam
• File size and format validation for uploads
• Automatic detection of duplicate submissions

• Hosted on enterprise-grade cloud providers
• Automated backups and disaster recovery
