How do I set up a photo wall for my wedding reception?

Create a free wall at qrwall.live and name it; you get a QR code straight away. Print it on the table cards or the order of the day, and open the wall on the venue's screen or projector. Guests scan with their phone camera and their photos and messages appear on the screen as the night goes on. Setup takes about a minute.

What if older guests don't know how to scan a QR code?

Phone cameras from the last few years read QR codes on their own: open the camera, point it at the code, tap the link. No app and no account. A one-line instruction on the table card ("Open your camera and point it here") covers anyone unsure. Guests in their seventies and eighties post without help.

Does it work without good Wi-Fi at the venue?

Guests post over their own mobile data, so venue Wi-Fi is not needed for scanning or uploading. The screen showing the wall does need a connection to receive posts; venue Wi-Fi is usually enough for that, and a phone hotspot works as a backup at a barn or a marquee.

Can we check what goes on the screen before it shows?

Yes, on Premium and Professional. Turn on approval and every post waits in a queue on your phone, or your coordinator's, until someone taps yes. Professional adds AI moderation that screens photos and text automatically, so nothing from the stag do reaches the screen by accident.

Does this replace the photographer?

No. Your photographer's photos are the ones you frame; the edit takes weeks. The wall collects what a hundred guests' phones saw while the night is happening, and you have those the next morning. Photographers tend to like it: it keeps the reception lively and takes the "can we have the photos yet" pressure off them.

Can we keep everything afterwards?

Yes. On Premium ($10.99 for the month) and Professional you download every photo, message and video as one archive, and you get a private gallery link for anyone who couldn't be there. You can cancel right after the wedding and delete the wall whenever you want.
