Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests simply scan a QR code with their phone camera and can instantly share messages and photos through their mobile browser. This frictionless approach means higher participation rates at your events.
How much does QR Wall cost?
QR Wall offers three pricing tiers:
- Free ($0): A live wall with QR code — the 5 most recent posts stay on screen, and the first 30 posts per event are included
- Premium ($10.99): Unlimited posts, full content downloads, a shareable gallery, and premium themes
- Professional ($19.99): AI moderation, attendee contact capture, camera-only mode, and full branding — your logo inside the QR code, custom background, and the Keynote theme

Can I moderate content before it appears?
Yes, on the paid plans. Premium and Professional include a manual approval queue: turn it on and every submission waits for your one-tap approval before it reaches the wall. Professional adds AI moderation, which screens every message, photo, and video automatically with 5 strictness levels. The two work together — the AI's verdict is shown against each post in the queue. On any plan, including Free, you can remove content from the display instantly.
What equipment do I need?
Just a display screen (TV, projector, or monitor) with a web browser and internet. A laptop connected over HDMI works — and on a smart TV you don't need one at all: open qrwall.live/tv in the TV's browser and pair it from your phone. Guests only need their phones.
Can I show QR Wall on a smart TV without a laptop?
Yes. Open qrwall.live/tv in the TV's web browser and a pairing code appears on screen. Scan it with your phone, sign in there, choose your wall, and the TV switches to the live display by itself — nothing is typed on the TV, and no account is ever signed in on the venue screen. Your phone stays in control for moderation and settings.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We take security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow industry best practices for data protection and privacy. Read more on our security page.
Can I customize the QR Wall design?
Yes. Premium unlocks the Elegant and Memorial display themes; Professional adds the Keynote theme with a live animated backdrop, a custom branded background image, and your logo embedded inside the event QR code itself — on the wall, the printed poster, and downloads. Every plan can switch between the Slideshow and Grid views live; walls with video submissions enabled add a full-screen TV view with a message ticker.
How many guests can participate?
QR Wall can handle events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings of 20 people to large conferences with thousands of attendees. The system scales automatically based on your event size.
Can I collect guest emails or phone numbers?
Yes. On the Professional plan, enable attendee contact capture and guests are asked for an email or phone number before their first post — one field, shown once per phone, with a clear notice that the organizer receives their details. Every photo and message is linked to who sent it, and you can download the attendee list as a CSV from your event gallery or ZIP export. See event lead capture for details.
What happens to the content after my event?
All submitted content is saved and accessible to you after the event. You can download photos, export messages, and keep the memories. Content stays until you delete it — there's no time-based expiry on any plan — and when you delete a post or an event, it's removed completely, including the stored media files.

Does QR Wall work without WiFi?
Guests need an internet connection (WiFi or mobile data) to submit content. The display device also needs internet. Most event venues provide WiFi, and guests can use their mobile data as a fallback.
