Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests simply scan a QR code with their phone camera and can instantly share messages and photos through their mobile browser. This frictionless approach means higher participation rates at your events.

Can I moderate content before it appears?
Yes. QR Wall includes moderation features that allow you to review and approve content before it's displayed on your event wall. You can set up moderation rules, block inappropriate content, and ensure everything shown aligns with your event's standards.
What equipment do I need?
Just a display screen (TV, projector, or monitor) with a web browser and internet. A laptop connected over HDMI works — and on a smart TV you don't need one at all: open qrwall.live/tv in the TV's browser and pair it from your phone. Guests only need their phones.
Can I show QR Wall on a smart TV without a laptop?
Yes. Open qrwall.live/tv in the TV's web browser and a pairing code appears on screen. Scan it with your phone, sign in there, choose your wall, and the TV switches to the live display by itself — nothing is typed on the TV, and no account is ever signed in on the venue screen. Your phone stays in control for moderation and settings.
Is my data secure?

Can I customize the QR Wall design?
Yes. Premium unlocks the Elegant and Memorial display themes; Professional adds the Keynote theme with a live animated backdrop, a custom branded background image, and your logo embedded inside the event QR code itself — on the wall, the printed poster, and downloads. Every plan can switch between the Slideshow and Grid views live; walls with video submissions enabled add a full-screen TV view with a message ticker.
How many guests can participate?
QR Wall can handle events of all sizes, from intimate gatherings of 20 people to large conferences with thousands of attendees. The system scales automatically based on your event size.
Can I collect guest emails or phone numbers?
Yes. On the Professional plan, enable attendee contact capture and guests are asked for an email or phone number before their first post — one field, shown once per phone, with a clear notice that the organizer receives their details. What happens to the content after my event?
All submitted content is saved and accessible to you after the event. You can download photos, export messages, and keep the memories. Content retention periods vary by plan tier.

Does QR Wall work without WiFi?
Guests need an internet connection (WiFi or mobile data) to submit content. The display device also needs internet. Most event venues provide WiFi, and guests can use their mobile data as a fallback.
