Yes. Schools, universities and registered nonprofits get the Professional plan for $6.99 for the first month, then $19.99 per month. For schools it is applied automatically when the account is signed in with a school or university email; nonprofits enter their registration number once.

I'm a teacher but I signed up with my personal Gmail. Can I still get it?

Sign in with your school email address instead — that address is what qualifies the account. A wall you made on the personal account stays there, so the simplest route is to create the next one on the school account.

Does it work outside the US?

Yes. Besides US .edu, it recognises international academic domains such as .ac.uk, .edu.au, .ac.jp and .edu.ar, UK school domains, and thousands of universities on their own national domains (like ethz.ch or utoronto.ca). If your school's domain isn't recognised, email support@qrwall.live and we'll add it.

Can students use the education price?

Yes. A student signed in with a school or university email qualifies the same way as staff — useful for student clubs, societies and campus events.

Do alumni with a .edu address qualify?

An account on an academic email address qualifies; we don't check enrolment or employment.

What happens after the first month?
