The Guest, The Knot's wedding photo-sharing app (formerly Veri), stopped taking new events in October 2022, and downloads of old galleries ended around mid-2024. A Google Photos shared album or iCloud Shared Album, linked from a QR code on the tables, is the honest free route: everyone adds full-resolution photos and everyone keeps them. Accept that nothing auto-shares any more. The Guest pulled photos from guests' camera rolls automatically once they installed it; today's tools ask guests to scan a QR code and pick photos, which in exchange means no app to install.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is The Guest app still available?
No. The Knot retired The Guest in October 2022: new events were disabled then, and downloads of existing galleries were wound down, with access ending around mid-2024. It was previously called Veri, which The Knot's parent company acquired in 2017 and made free to couples in 2018.
What app replaced The Guest for wedding photo sharing?
No single app replaced it. For a live slideshow at the reception, QR Wall, GuestCam and Wedibox all put guests' photos on a screen as they arrive; for a gallery only, GuestCam, Wedibox, Kululu and Guestpix collect everything by QR code; POV offers a disposable-camera experience. Can I still download my photos from The Guest?
Almost certainly not. After the October 2022 retirement, The Knot kept downloads open for a limited period that ended around mid-2024. If guests still have originals on their phones, a shared album or any tool here can collect them again.
