For town festivals, food festivals and fairs

The whole town is here today. Put it on the stage screen.

Visitors scan a code off the screen by the stage and their photos and messages appear in about a second — the kids' parade, the winning pie, the band on the square, the volunteers who set up at dawn. No app. Afterwards, it's next year's poster.

Everyone photographs it, nobody gathers it
A festival ends up in a thousand camera rolls. The wall is the one place those photos meet, and it happens on the day.
Your sponsors, on the busiest screen
On Professional the wall carries a custom background, so the local sponsors sit behind the content everyone is watching.

AI moderation on Professional screens photos and text, and the approval queue lets a volunteer tap yes before anything shows.

A festival photo wall is a live screen at a town festival, food festival or community fair — the LED screen beside the stage, a projector in the marquee, a TV at the info tent — that visitors post photos, short videos and messages to by scanning a QR code shown on the screen itself. There is no app to install and no account to create, so a grandmother at the cake stall and a teenager at the dunk tank can both post in a few seconds.

For the organizers it does two jobs. On the day, it puts the whole community on the stage screen between acts, alongside the sponsors who paid for the day. Afterwards, the downloaded archive — every photo visitors chose to share — becomes the material for the thank-you post, the sponsor report and next year's poster.

One screen, one code, the whole weekend

Set it up the day before. Any volunteer with a phone can run it from there.

  1. STEP 1

Put the wall on the stage screen

Create a wall, name it after the festival ("Summer Fair 2026"), and open the display link on the stage screen, the marquee projector or a TV at the info point. The QR code shows on the wall itself; printing it on the programme or the stall signs is a bonus.

  2. STEP 2

    Visitors scan and post

Camera, code, one tap. Photos from the parade, a video of the tug-of-war, a message for the volunteers. Posts go over visitors' own mobile data, so it doesn't depend on Wi-Fi in a field.

  3. STEP 3

It runs all weekend, then it's yours

Every post lands in under a second and the wall keeps filling between acts. On paid plans you download everything afterwards — the raw material for next year's promotion.

Built for a festival committee

A public crowd, a sponsor list, a volunteer rota and more than one day.

The screen between acts

Stage screens sit idle between performances. The wall fills those gaps with the crowd itself — the stalls, the kids, the neighbours — and people stay near the stage to find their own photo.

Sponsor branding that gets watched

On Professional you upload a custom background with the sponsor logos, and your logo can go inside the QR code. It's screen time you can genuinely offer the local businesses who funded the day.

Moderated for a public crowd

Anyone in the square can scan. Professional runs AI moderation on photos and text before they reach the screen, and the approval queue lets a volunteer approve each post from a phone.

Messages for the volunteers

Text posts appear beside the photos, so visitors can thank the people behind the stalls and the committee can put up notices, prayers or thank-yous of their own. It's the one board everyone reads.

The one day the whole town is in one place, and nobody gathers the photos

A festival is photographed by everyone who comes to it. The parade, the bake-off, the band on the square, the kids with painted faces — it all goes into hundreds of camera rolls and a few public posts, and the committee who spent months organizing it ends up asking on Facebook afterwards for anyone who took pictures. Most people never answer.

The wall is where those photos land while the festival is still happening. The town watches itself on the stage screen between acts, the volunteers see the thank-yous, and the sponsors are on the screen everyone keeps looking at. And when it's over, the committee already has the archive: the thank-you post, the sponsor report and next year's poster, made by the people who came.

The same wall, in Grid

Every recent post on screen at once — the view for a crowd milling in front of the stage.

Grid fills the screen with the whole day at once, and it reads as a busy festival from across the square. Slideshow gives each photo its moment, which suits a quiet stretch in the marquee. Switch between them from a phone; nobody rescans.

Next year's festival starts with this year's photos

Every festival committee spends the months before the next edition hunting for photos of the last one — for the poster, the flyer, the grant application, the pitch to a new sponsor. The wall means that search is over before it starts: everything visitors posted is in one download, the day after.

Try it free at a smaller event first. For the festival itself, one month of Professional ($19.99) covers every day of it, with the moderation and sponsor branding a public crowd calls for — and you can cancel once the archive is downloaded.

Festival wall questions

What organizers and volunteers ask before putting the crowd on the stage screen.

How do I set up a live photo wall at a festival or community fair?
Create a wall at qrwall.live, name it after the festival, and open the display link on the stage screen, a projector in the marquee or any TV with a browser. The QR code shows on the wall itself; visitors scan it with their phone camera and their photos, short videos and messages appear on the screen in about a second. Setup takes under a minute.
Does it work outdoors, without good Wi-Fi?
Visitors post over their own mobile data, so the festival doesn't need public Wi-Fi. Only the screen showing the wall needs a connection — a venue network, an ethernet cable to the stage, or a phone hotspot is enough.
Can one wall run across a multi-day festival?
Yes. A wall stays live for as long as you keep it open, so the same QR code works every day of the festival and the wall keeps filling. You can also clear it between days or create a separate wall per day or per stage from the same account.
How do we keep inappropriate posts off a public screen?
Turn on moderation. The Professional plan screens every photo and message with AI moderation before it reaches the screen, and its approval queue holds each post until a volunteer taps yes on their phone. With a public crowd, most organizers switch both on.
Can we show our sponsors' logos on the wall?
Yes, on Professional ($19.99/mo). You upload a custom background carrying the sponsor logos, and your festival logo can sit inside the QR code itself. Premium ($10.99/mo) removes QR Wall's branding without the custom background.
Can we use the photos to promote next year's festival?
On Premium and Professional you download every photo, video and message as a ZIP archive after the event and can share a gallery link with the town. Those are photos visitors chose to share with the festival — the usual source for next year's poster, social posts and sponsor report.

The whole town is taking photos. Give them one screen to share them on.

Open the wall on the stage screen before the gates open — the festival fills it for you.
